Earth Online is an open world made of real life. We see life as an ongoing game of exploration, experimentation and co-creation—with no single right answer and no requirement to follow the same path. Here, you can notice your choices again, update your role through action and build new possibilities with kindred people.

EARTH ONLINE, STEP BY STEP · GROWTH MILESTONES
Every milestone is a story of Earth Online in progress.
From a shared game fund in 2024 to players, spaces and everyday life connecting across cities, this is the step-by-step story of how Earth Online is becoming what it is today.

The game begins
A small group pooled the first “game fund” and started Earth Online with no finished blueprint—only a shared belief that life could be played differently.

The first Opening
With a local bookstore, we brought the Interstellar Bar story, psychodrama, scent, cards, masks and meditation into one lived experience. The idea became a world people could enter.

The world levels up
A second, expanded Opening took shape with a whisky bar—and more people began to see the kind of life Earth Online was inviting them to play.

From one event to a city network
Partnerships with more than ten spaces across Nanjing led to over a hundred gatherings—spreading the experiment throughout the city.

Taking the experiment underwater
The players travelled to the Philippines to learn diving and explore new edges of body, fear and trust beneath the surface.

Looking for new possibilities in Bali
The players travelled to Bali to explore local resources, courses and projects around wellbeing, water-based experiences and digital-nomad life.

Infinite House opens in Nanjing
Our first home in the physical world opened. Players from different cities and countries came to talk, build, host and live together.

Turning spectators into participants
A conventional art exhibition became an immersive art-and-psychology experience, inviting visitors to step inside the story instead of standing outside it.

An art-and-wellbeing field trip to Huanglong Island
The players travelled to Huanglong Island to explore and take part in a local art-based experience project.

A field trip to the East China Sea
We drove to the East China Sea to meet local crystal specialists and learn about crystal culture and its related market.

Huahua and Curry move into Infinite House
Huahua and Curry became Infinite House’s first feline residents—one bold and sociable, one shy and snack-loving—bringing a warmer daily rhythm to the space.

The Interstellar Bar becomes real
Once only a story, the Interstellar Bar found a physical home inside Infinite House—a place for drinks, stories and unexpected reflection.

Player Login oils arrive
After more than a year of refinement and market testing, Earth Online created its own Player Login oil and Prosperity oil.

A language for learning through play
The players began shaping a shared play-learning framework from their own life journeys and diverse practices.
15
Returning to Kunming
The players returned to Kunming to visit Xingling and explore the city’s digital-nomad and experience-based ecosystem. The outline of a new node came into view.
16
A shared act of remembrance
The players gathered spontaneously to remember loved ones who had passed. Real relationships and real moments of life are part of this world, too.
17
Laicai becomes the third resident cat
Laicai, a playful and people-loving young rescue cat, officially moved into Infinite House—completing its trio of feline residents.

Two cars heading southwest
Two cars left Nanjing, picking up players through Changsha, Guilin and Guizhou before gathering in Kunming.

A festival built by a handful of players
Players from around the world spent more than ten days turning their varied skills into a festival of shared experiences.
20
Giving vision and action a home
The Institute of Civilization and the Institute of Engineering were formally established—one to cultivate ideas, the other to bring them into the world.

A new player base grows in Kunming
Among the mountains and water, a new rhythm of shared work, gatherings and daily life emerged—expanding Earth Online beyond one city.
22
Infinite House enters 3.0
The Nanjing base began evolving from an internal co-creation space into a semi-self-service player entry point. The next players are arriving.
